Max Granger is a writer and translator published in The Intercept, The Baffler, The Guardian, Foreign Policy, Latin American Literature Today, High Country News, Guernica, and elsewhere. He is a former staff translator for El País—the most widely read digital newspaper in the Spanish-speaking world—and currently translates for Central America’s award-winning investigative newsroom El Faro. Max volunteers with the migrant solidarity project No More Deaths and is a coauthor of the report series Disappeared: How U.S. Border Enforcement Agencies are Fueling a Missing Persons Crisis.
